Tottenham – Birmingham
Barclays Premier League
16:00
Tottenham made a flying start this season and now they are leaders – the question here is until when they will be able to keep this position?
At first sight, this game seems a bit boring – Tottenham are in great shape, the player`s moral and confidence is high and Birmingham are expected to fight to avoid relegation as they didn`t impress in the opening games. But let`s put things this way – Spurs are expected to lose points soon. Some people are being really sceptic and they thing that this will happen here.
But let`s look things objectively- Spurs are really in good shape, performing well with high morale and confidence, both in the players and the manager. I also expect Tottenham to lose points soon but having in mind that their next to fixtures will be hard for them (hosting Man Utd and visiting Chelsea), I think that they will lose point rather there than here. And baring in mind the fact I just pointed, I suppose they will want to get the 3 points here. On the other side, Birmingham haven`t conceded much goals until now but the truth is that they haven`t met team with great offensive power yet (hosting desperate Pompey and Stoke and visiting at Machester, which weren`t that powerful in the first leg). Also they seem to have troubles scoring goals – they have scored only once against weak Pompey (in the last minute). And we cannot miss the fact that they have bunch of players injured.
I think that Spurts won`t lose point here and the odds are fair. I hope they won`t mislead us in this round and we can leave them for the next two.
