The Bundesliga is close to its end, only 2 rounds left, and the situation is more than interesting and it hasn`t been like this for a while.

Stuttgart is still fighting for the title and if it doesn`t win it still they will play big role to decide the champion.

I already wrote a few times about the influence of Babbel and the things were pretty good for the team especially in the second part of the season. And now they will challenge for the title, though Wolfsburg and Bayern are the biggest favorites. Still I am pretty sure that Babbel will at least try to get the team in the Top 3 as this will be a nice final place for the team. And if they want to do so, they will have to win there as they will visit Bayern in the last round of the season. So we have a nice motivation, no doubt.

Stuttgart are quite strong at home right now and we all still remember what they did to Wolfsburg in their last home game. Delpierre is back in the team in order to secure little more strenght in defense and despite Gomez, Cacau is in good shape too, forming pretty strong offense. Only Khedira will miss the game and join the injury list.

Maybe, after the win against Wolfsburg, Cottbus were encouraged about the end of the season but then came a few awful games for them and now they are in the middle of the relegation zone. And them came the stunning loss at home vs Gladbach that made their situation really desperate. And it is going to be hard for them to get some points here.

Their situation is even worse as the injury list became even longer - Pavicevic, Branko Jelic, Ivica Iliev and Rangelov joined it.

Probable line-ups

Stuttgart – Lehmann – Trasch, Boulahrouz, Delpierre, Magnin – Lanig, Hitzlsperger – Hilbert, Gebhart – Gomez, Cacau

Cottbus – Tremmel – Radeljic, Cvitanovic, Cagdas, Ziebig – Kukielka, Rost – Angelov, Skela, Sorensen – Jula

The Pick

The hosts are a class above their opponents and their form one of the bests recently. Motivation will be extremely high for both of the teams. And the long injury list of Cottbus came at the most unappropriate time. With the offensive power and the form of the players in Stuttgart, I can`t see Energie to get something here. Though I will decrease my stakes a bit due to the fact that Cottbus is fighting to avoid relegation and such teams have the ability to cause problems.
