Detroit Pistons – Cleveland Cavaliers

det-cleTonight, the Detroit Pistons who are not playing so good lately are hosting the LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers in a game which is most probable to be a very boring and low-scoring one.

Detroit did not started convincingly this season with 5 wins and 4 losses but after that they are in one very bad streak of 5 straight losses and it seems that they will fight once again until the very end of the season for a Playoff spot. The Pistons are on the 26th place (from 30 teams) in the scoring standings with an average of 92.5 scored points per game. One fact that is due to the very slow playing tempo of the Pistons and due to the injuries of the two of their main weapons – Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton. And in the last 5 games, the Pistons have scored only 90.4 points per game and tonight it will be even harder for them against the Cavaliers.

Cleveland despite their 10 wins till now, did not start in the very best possible way, as they managed to lose 4 games, 2 of which at their home court (as many as they recorded for the entire last season). According to some analysts, one of the main reasons for that is the acquiring of Shaquille O’Neal, who is slowing a lot their style of play. Today, Shaq is most probable to play which means another slower tempo for the Cavs and less field goals. And also, the Cavs are one of the best defensive teams in the league with an average of 95.07 allowed points per game and the Pistons are just in front of them with 94.64. And before the Shaq’s injury, Cleveland had 6 unders out of 9 games, while without Shaq in the team they are with just 1 under in 5 games.
In the last 10 games between these two teams, there are 9 unders and just 1 over.

Pick: under 183.5 points in the game at the odds of 1.90 at bet365.
Detroit Pistons 88:98 Cleveland Cavaliers

Good Luck.
