Tonight, Denver hosts New Orleans in one match where they can close the series as they are currently leading with 3:1. Something which I rate as high probable to happen.
Denver, in the games till now, showed to all of us why they are 2nd in the Western Conference and they are going closer and closer towards the Western Finals. In the first two home games versus New Orleans, the Nuggets recorded two convincing wins – 113:84 and 108:93 and I expect something similar from them in this game. Moreover, in the previous game, which took part in the Hornets’ hall they humiliated their opponent with 58 (!) points margin – 121:63. The leaders of the team- Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups are playing very good in the series and today they will do everything that they can to take the win for the team. In the last 7 matches between the two teams, Denver are 6-1 ATS.
New Orleans disappointed a lot in the matches till now, and after the embarassing loss in the previous game, I don’t believe that they will find the needed motivation not for taking the win in this match but for going out with a respectable defeat. Chris Paul despite his efforts was able to help his team for only one win – 95:93. Definitely, the Hornets need some refreshment, as it is clearly that Peja Stojakovic, Tyson Chandler and David West are not enough for doing something in the Playoffs. I expected from them some better performance at least in front of their fans, but they couldn’t do even this. And today the test will be so difficult, as the Nuggets are one of the best hosts in the Association with their home record of 35-8 and they are from these kind of teams who like to humiliate their opponent.
