Tonight the matches are very complicated but I think that there are some picks which still worth a try.
New York Knicks – Memphis Grizzlies
One bet against totally out of form Memphis. With 7 straight losses, 5 of them with double-digit and the other 2 with 7 and 8 points difference, and 11 losses in last 12 matches, Memphis continue to go down in the standings and now take 12 place in Western Conference, which means that they are out of the playoffs for sure. Also Grizzlies are 1-10 ATS in their last 11. New York in contrast to Memphis are in form, and recorded 4 wins in last 6 games, and 4 wins in their last 5 home games. Even they managed to go past Boston and in their last match they won over Phoenix. Definitely, the hiring of Mike D’ Antoni had a massive positive effect for the team. In the last match against these two on 12.11.2008 in the hall in Memphis, Knicks totally outplayed their opponent and won by 132:103. This night I expect something similar, and if the Knicks don’t win by such a huge margin, I think that they will cover the spread. Darko Milicic and Quinton Ross are out for Memphis, and with their short bench, this missings are crucial for them. Jerome James and Eddy Curry will miss the game for Knicks but I don’t think this will be a problem for D’ Antoni.

Detroit Pistons – Dallas Mavericks
After 5 straight losses, Detroit finally managed to win 2 straight games and today they will be very motivated for the match against Dallas and they will want to win a game versus little stronger opponent. One opponent who haven’t his best games lately and in last 6 visits Dallas have only 1 win – against Philadelphia 95:93. Despite the 26.6 average points in these 6 games by Dirk Nowitzki, he don’t receive much support from his teammates and this is the reason for the poor results of Dallas. Detroit came out of their bad streak with one win over Memphis (87:79) and in the next game at home they managed to beat Toronto with almost 20 point margin – 95:76. And I think that they should record some straight wins.
