City maybe out from the UEFA Cup but their performance in the league has significantly improved in the last 2 rounds.Their goal now is to get in the top 6 but in my opionio, that is too optimistic. Nevertheless, they are motivated to do it. Now most important thing here is that they did pretty well in the last 2 games, winning both of them. The moral of the players now is boosted and they believe in their own abilities, which is very important for their performance. 

I was surprised when City won against Everton in the last round but they deserved it. Until now I didn`t trusted this team – their defense was just awful and the attack was not productive. But they made good signs for improvement.

Ireland is in good form lately, guiding the offensive power of the team. Even if they do not manage to get in the first 6, there is great possibility that they reach the 7th place, which is also good, having in mind where they were a few months ago.

On paper, Blackburn still have some chances to go down in the relegation zone but I do not think that this is possible. If they get a few more points they will be safe enough in the middle of the table. And having in mind the results of the teams in the relegation zone, I think Blackburn is pretty safe now.

I was also surprised by the fact that Blackburn managed to win to nill in the last round – as they almost every time concede at least one goal! Their performance as guests is awful lately as they lost their last 3 games. It was expected to lose against Liverpool and Arsenal but not with that much difference in both games. And then came the disappointing loss against Stoke.

The Pick

Man City will try to get their 3th win in a row as they are in form right now and fully focused in the league. I expect another good game from them as Blackburn are quite unstable right now. City believed in themselves again and their moral is high. The odds are more than fair as I find some value in them.
