The time when the Champions League continues with the 1/8 finals is always exiting and I believe we all have been waiting for this moment.All the games are really interesting and in this round, with those clashes, it is hard to place bets and if you do so – the is risk is higher than usual. Still I think that this is the most suitable game to place a bet.

Lyon is sitting comfortable on the top of the french Ligue 1 and we must admit that they are in nice form right now. They are heading straight to another title in the league. In the last round they won against Nancy as guests but the important thing is that some players were rested having in mind this game. The team knows that is going to be hard but they are prepared for this game and they realize that if they want to continue in the tournament they will have to achieve a result here.

Alongside with Lyon, Barcelona is also in great form. Now people will speak that Barcelona lost power as they failed to win the last 2 rounds. Well this is wrong way to think right now. First of all, we should not judge that much the league results when we are analyzing international games. Second, this lost should have come at some point – it is just natural. And this will show the players that they should fight in each game not to think that they can beat everyone easily. Guardiola spoke well after the game, saying that he is not disappointed and that now the important thinks is his players to recover as fast as possible. So I`m pretty sure he will erase from their minds this result and even more – he will turn it as a motivation factor for the boys.

We should add a few more important things here – Guardiola will try to get the win here for sure. It is in his style to try to decide everything in the first leg. For example – the game against Atl. Madrid in the Cup. He rested Messi in the league`s game in order to give their opponent as hardest time as possible in the first leg when Barcelona played away. And they won 2 – 3. So now Guardiola have almost his full squad and he will go for the win here for sure.

Lyon is the team who conceded 10 goals in the group stage – more than every other team in the stage.

Of course both teams will be highly motivated here. The thing is that both teams have great offensive powers (that`s for sure) and Guardiola will play for the win here. So I expect that this will be an open game (not like the others in that day, where the away side will play really careful). My prediction is that we will see goals here. The odds are nice and soon they will begin to drop for sure.
