Lazio – Juventus
A nice game for the end of the round in Serie A. Many people did not believed Juve will play that good having in mind the long injury list. But they are really a very nice team playing great football with Del Piero in great shape.Juve are in 2nd place and only 4 points seperates them from the leader Inter. As Maurinho is having slight problems now, Juve are just waiting for them to screw up so they can get closer to the first place. On the other side Milan are trying to get to the 2nd place (something I do not believe for now). So Juve cannot afford to lose points and they have to keep with the good play. On the other side Lazio is on the 7th place trying to attack the spots for the Euro competitions, but in fact Lazio is out of shape now (especially when playing against bigger teams).
So You can see that the motivation here is high in both teams.
Both teams have great offensive powers – Juve got Del Piero and Amauri, Lazio got Zarate, Rocchi and Pandev. On the other side Lazio`s defense is not in its best shape and Juve won`t be able to use their best formation in defense. This will give chances to those players to score a lot goals.
Lazio again will play in 4-3-3. In my opinion Juve will be able to conquer the midfield and this will give nice oportunities for attacks. On the other side the 3 classy attackers in Lazio team will their chances too against that kind of Juve`s defense.
If I have to choose a side probably I will go with Juve. But I find nice value in the over 2.5 goals odds.
