Today, I see another great value in Orlando to cover the spread and I will trust them. Especially as the team is fighting for the 2nd place in the Eastern Conference with Boston Celtics and they have to win matches like this till the rest of the season if they want this 2nd spot.
New York are not in good shape lately with 4 straight losses, and 6 losses in last 10 matches. Also, the team has won only 1 game in their last 6 home games and 3 straight losses in “Madison Square Garden”. Only 3 days ago, the Knicks “managed” to lost by the last placed team in the Association, Sacramento Kings, with the “impressive” 27 points margin – 94:121. Danilo Gallinari and Eddy Curry will mis for sure this clash, while Larry Hughes is questionable and David Lee is probable to play.
Orlando are playing a lot different in comparison with the Knicks. The team is playing one very good season and as I mentioned above, they are fighting hard for the 2nd place with the Celtics. And while Boston are 53-18 and Orlando 51-18, this place doesn’t seem as a miracle and if Orlando continue to win matches like this, they will take it. In the last 10 matches, Orlando are with only 2 losses (and 7-3 ATS in this period), as one of these losses is against the high-flying, after the Iverson’s injury, team of Detroit Pistons, and the other one is versus almost-the-perfect home team of Cleveland Cavaliers (with only 1 home loss for the entire season). So, we can’t say that these losses are due to some bad form of the Magic. The team is playing very good as an away side with these 24 wins and only 11 losses. In front of them are only LA Lakers with 24-9. Also, the Magic are from these kind of teams who like very much to humiliate their opponents – in their last 24 wins, the team has covered the spread in the highly notable 21 games. Something, which I expect to happen today.
