The bulgarian squad will have great difficulties with the attacking power – Berbatov, Petrov, Bojinov won`t be able to play due to injuries.
They are big blow for the bulgarians and surely the attacks won`t be so dangerous without them. In addition to that Domovchiyski will not play too because Hertha refused to the international call-up due to the late request. So I guess we will se Rangelov in attack.
This is really important game for the away side – if they want to qualify for the World Cup 2010 they will have to get a result here. If they fail to win here the task is going to be almost impossible. So the bulgarians will be highly motivated. And it is sadly for the team that they will face such an important game with a crippled squad.
For Ireland Duff is out but Trappatoni will have McGeedy and he is really more important now for the team with his speed and technique. Given has overcome his injury and will play. Dunn will be in the heart of the defense and Doyle and Keane will be the pair in the attack.
Like the away side, the team of Ireland will be also highly motivated. If they win this game the gap between these 2 teams will be 10 points! And Bulgaria is the major treat for Ireland. If they grab a win here most probably they will finish second and they will face the game against Italy in the next round with more calmness.

H2H shows that Bulgaria still doesn`t have a win against Ireland and I`m pessimistic that they will be able to get a win here. Both sides will be highly motivated for this game as this clash may decide who will finish in the second spot and will have the chance to play on WC 2010. Bulgarians will try to defend really hard as they will try not to concede. But with those key injuries in attack it is going to be really hard for the away side to score. In my opinion Ireland will edge this.
