Both teams went through some changes during the summer and we are about to see how they are going to perform this season.

Heerenveen lost Pranjic and for sure the team will miss him. They made a fair season last year but still their performance dropped compared to season 2007/2008 when they played pretty attractive. Unfortunately, my expectation for this season aren`t optimistic as I see great chance that they will perform worse than the previous one.

AZ changed their manager in the summer but still everybody will expect another good season. After the disapointing fisrt game, AZ bounced back after winning against Sparta (2-0) and Waalwijk (0-6). Now they seem on fire with high morale and regained confidence. And the good news are that El Hamdaoui and Dembele are in form being a great treat for every defense.

Those teams met alredy in the opening game this season with AZ hammering Heerenveen with 1 – 5. It is true that Heerenveen had a lot of injuries then but still they have some concerns about key players and their start of the season wasn`t good at all. On the other side, AZ showed that they are back on the track and it looks like they are fully capable of getting another win here.
