Miami Heat – Denver Nuggets

We are about to see one very exciting game tonight at American Airlines Arena, when the Miami Heat (with a record of 4-1 this season so far) will host one of the 2 teams who have not suffered a loss this season, the Denver Nuggets – 5 wins out of 5 games. And the Heat are going into this game with the hope to cause the first loss to the Nuggets. But I don’t rate that as very probable to happen.
Miami started the season very well with 4 wins in 5 games, but if we take a deep look onto these wins, we will see that they came against not so good teams – versus New York Knicks (115:93), Indiana Pacers (96:83), Chicago Bulls (95:87) and Washington Wizards (93:89). All of them, except the Bulls, have missed the last year’s Playoffs. Moreover the matches against the Bulls and the Wizards were very tough for the Heat, as they won them in the last 1-2 minutes of the 4th quarter. Miami met one stronger opponent – the Phoenix Suns – and they were not able to win the game, which took place exactly in the American Airlines Arena. Dwayne Wade continues to show us some short of magical moves on the court, but I don’t think that he will be enough to beat the last year’s West finalist, Denver Nuggets.
Denver started this season amazingly and tonight they have the perfect opportunity to continue with their winning streak, before the tough visit to Atlanta, where they can lose the game. In the mentioned 5 wins of the Nuggets they won 4 of them with 10+ margin, and without any doubt the team is playing so-good-to-be-true. In my opinion, Nene and Kenyon Martin will win the battle against Jermaine O’Neal and Michael Beasley in the paint, and will give their team a big advantage to win the game. And all of the players know how to beat the Heat, as they won 9 of the last 10 games between the two teams, and they are 7-2-1 ATS in these 10.
Pick: Denver Nuggets (-1) at the odds of 1.95 at bet365, with 8/10 units.
Miami Heat 96:88 Denver Nuggets
Good Luck.
