Atlanta Hawks – New Orleans Hornets

Last night, Atlanta recorded one magnificent win as visitors to Boston, and tonight they are hosting the New Orleans Hornets, who are suffering a lot this season and last night they met one more disaster, and it will be a very hard game for them in Atlanta tonight, in which I don’t believe that the two teams will go over the line offered by the bookies.
Atlanta started very good this season, with 7 wins out of 9 games, and currently they are lying on the 2nd place in the Eastern Conference. Last night, they managed to win against the one of the NBA title favourites this season – Boston Celtics, and the Hawks proved their big ambition this season. The team is playing very good in defence, as we saw last night when all of the Boston’s big stars were neutralized. While tonight, the Hawks will meet one very weaker opponent that the Celtics, and definitely it will be a lot easier to stop them. There are no injuries in the team, so Mike Woodson will be able to field all of his best players who have to go over the Hornets with ease. But after the very tough last game, I don’t expect so fast and demolishing game from the Hawks.
New Orleans after the last year Playoff participation, started so bad this season, and they have a record of 3-7, and some days ago, Chris Paul said that he is not satisfied with the current level of performance of his team-mates. And 2 days ago, the team’s head-coach Byron Scott was fired and right now the General manager of the team, Jeff Bower, is the coach of the team. But one misfortune never comes alone, and last night against the Trail Blazers, Chris Paul sprained his ankle, so he will miss next 1-2 weeks. Something that will weak more the Hornets. Still more, the Hornets are not playing good offensively this season, as when they meet a good defensive team, they rarely score more than 90 points, while they managed to score just 78 against Portland. And tonight, without Chris Paul in the team, I don’t expect that they will score a lot more, so I expect at around of 180-185 total points in the game, while the line set by the bookies is 200.5 points. In the last 11 meetings in Atlanta, there are 10 unders.
Pick: Under 200.5 points in the game at the odds of 1.90 at bet365.
Good Luck.
