As I am writing this article the Saturday`s games are not over yet so I can be sure whether Hamburger will be still leaders on Sunday.Nevertheless, they will definitely want to get the win here. If Hoffenheim or Hertha takes the lead, they will try to get the 1st spot back again. If they fail to win, Hamburger will try to make their lead more comfortable. Lately, there has been a great dynamic on the top of the league and that is why all teams should be really careful if they want to get out of this battle as winners. Now is the time for Hamburger to play strong if they want to keep the lead. So they will be highly motivated for the 3pts here.
The home team is really in good form, the mood is good because they managed to take the 1st spot last round and they got through the next round of UEFA easily. In the last 6 games they achieved 5 wins (some of the really important against Bayern M and Leverkusen) and 1 lost against Karlsruher.
The team will not be tired because of their UEFA cup`s game because they spared some of their strenghts there as they were leading comfortable with 3 away goals. Thus, we cannot say the same for the away team. Hamburger is among the best home teams in the league, alonside with Wolfsburg.
Although, Wolfsburg are the best home team in the league they do not play that good as an away team. Anyway, this tendency seems to vanish as they play better after the winter break. They will be a bit tired after the games against PSG and the result may have some negative influence in their play
Hamburger will miss two regular defenders Jerome Boateng and Collin Benjamin but they have nice replacements. The big blow will be for the away side as playmaker Misimovic is suspended and Grafite is injured.

Hamburger – Bastian Reinhardt, Thimothee Atouba, Raphael Wolf
