Surely, this will be the most interesting game in this round – the current leader will face the team that pretends to be champion this year.
Hamburger
The home side played some very nice games – wins against Wolfsburg (2 -4), Dortmund (4 – 1) and Stuttgart (3 – 1), and alongside with some other good results the team found themself on the top spot. With most significant contribution for that were Ze Roberto and Guerrero for sure. Although their effective and attractive style of play we can say some negative facts for their performance lately – a loss from Rapid Viena, a draw with Frankfurt and the loss from Osnabruck during the week in the Cup after 120 minutes of play. Now this loss will influence negatively on their morale and it shows that the performance of the team has decreased.
The players maybe won`t be tired from the midweek`s game but the bad news for them is that Guerrero will miss this game and Ze Roberto will most probably play but won`t be fully fit. Now with the loss of those two players, their offensive power is greatly weakened.
Bayern M
This is a great opportunity for Bayern to steal the first position from Hamburger as their opponent is weakened right now with low morale. Well in Bayern`s squad things are quite the opposite – van Gaal maybe finally found how to win with this team and now after the arriving of Robben, they have achieved some very key victories. Toni and Klose are still out (though Toni will be on the bench), but right now Bayern are handling pretty well without them with Robben, Ribery, Gomez and Muller being on fire. With those 4 being in great shape, there is no defense in the Bundesliga that they cannot penetrate.
Both teams have better attacking availabilities and skills rather than defensive ones right now and this may give us some quality and spectacular game to watch. And also providing us some goals. But overall – Bayern are better motivated, with better squad and performing better right now than Hamburger and with these odds, it worths taking some risk with medium stakes.
