It is a very interesting game between these two team as Cagliari are trying to break into the positions providing spots for the euro competitions. To be honest – I backed Cagliari in their last two games (vs Siena and Juventus) and I am grateful that they did not disapointed me. Usually it is not good policy to keep backing one team continuously but most of the facts and my thoughts lead to home win.
Cagliari won their last 4 games and 2 of them were really important wins – against Juventus and Lazio (both when Cagliari were visiting). So the team is on a winning streak and motivation is high for this game. If you take a look at the last 6 games of Cagliari, you will see that the won 5 of them and all of those 5 wins were “to nill“. Well some of them were tight wins for sure, but still they managed to get all the 3 points somehow.
Atalanta on the other side are in the middle of the table with inconstant performances – first they lose 2-3 games and then manage to win one (mainly on home ground). As guests the team is really unstable (1-2-7) losing 5 of their last 6 games.
H2H is in home side`s favour – 5-2-0 (as one of the draws was in 1994!).

Home win is most probable in my view. Cagliari looks solid and I will trust them one more round over here. Atalanta looks shaky although their squad will be strenthened. And one more strong argument – odds for home win are value.
