Milwaukee Bucks – Los Angeles Lakers

This is the last game from a 7-game road trip for the LA Lakers, in last 2 matches of which, they suffered 2 defeats and 3rd loss in a row will be too much for them.

Milwaukee earlier this season played some good basketball being 7th-8th in the Eastern Conference’s standings with very good chances for a playoff spot until their key player Michael Redd got injured for the rest of the season which is the main reason for their current 10th place on the East. Also, after the Redd’s injury, one other very important player for them received a heavy injury – Andrew Bogut, and since then the Bucks are not playing good and the team is with only 3 wins in the last 10 matches. They won their last game against the Nets as visitors with the result of 107:78 but the Nets are in a very poor form and tonight the hosts will have very harder task to solve.
Los Angeles started very good the current road trip with 4 wins in 4 games but then they visited Atlanta and were beaten with 76:86, as well they lost last night’s game against the Bobcats with 84:94. Undoubtedly the team will be a little tired with all these away games but certainly they will come up for this game very motivated to win it as they still have the chance for the 1st place in the overall standings, as the team who take it in the final standings will have a home-court advantage. And the Lakers know pretty well that this home-court advantage can be crucial in the NBA Finals (as maybe the final this year will be between the Lakers and the Cavs) as in the last year’s Finals this advantage were for the Boston Celtics and Lakers lost the Finals. So, they will fight for it until they have theoretical chances. The only missing for the visitors is Andrew Bynum, but he is injured since January. Also, we have to mention the fact that in all of the 4 wins in this road-trip, the Lakers covered the spread of -6.5 which is offered for tonight, and I think that if they win (which is very likely to happen) they will cover it again.
