Another game, who deserves attention, is the one between the Bobcats and the Hawks, where we will see two teams with a big difference in the quality and the goals for the season.
Charlotte are on of the teams who were fighting until the last games in the previous season for a Playoff spot, but in the very end they did not succeed with reaching it. This season this 8th place will be their main goal too but it is still very early to be said if they will achieve it or not. Their record of 2 wins and 2 losses until now, most probably is satisfying for the team, but if we look at these games we will see that the team won against not so good teams as the New York Knicks and the New Jersey Nets, while in the two clashes against stronger than the Bobcats opponents (the Cavaliers, and the Celtics), they lost both of them. Also, against Boston, Charlotte scored only 59 points, as in 2 of the other games, they scored 79 points, and the Bobcats are the last placed team in the NBA for points per game (with 79.75). One thing, which definitely will not help them to win that game.
Atlanta before the start of the current season aimed higher than the previous season, when they managed to go through the Miami Heat in the first round of the Playoffs (4:3 wins), but were crashed by the Cavaliers in the second round by 0:4. And until now the team is doing pretty good job with 4 wins out of 5 games, as they even managed to win the game in Portland, against the Trail Blazers. The other wins of the Hawks were against the teams which are very similar to the Bobcats and if they play one good game tonight they have the big chance to record their 5th win this season. The Atlanta team is one of the youngest in the NBA but despite this, the chemistry in the team is on one very high level, and it is very likely for them to be one of the good surprises this season. But for this one to happen, they have to win games like this. In the last 4 games between the two teams, the Hawks won 3 of them.
