In my opinion, this will be the most interesting game in this round in the Bundesliga that is why I will analyze it in this post.

It is clear that Bayern are favourites for this clash and there is reason to be so. There were a lot of injury problems for the last round but Bayern did better than I expected. The good news is that Klose will be back for this game as well as Ribery who will most probably start from the bench as he is not 100% ready for this game. Still the problem with the defense remains as Demichelis is still out.

Van Gaal for sure will want the victory here (as he coudn`t get it in the previous round) especially as this will be his first game of this season in front of the fans. And let`s not forget that Werder humiliated Bayern last year here with 2 – 5 – something that van Gaal will use for motivation in order to get some revenge.

On the other side, Werder played bad last round and lost eventually with 2 – 3 at home. I can`t see how their performance will raise that much for this game so they can resist Bayern`s power. Naldo is still out as this is big blow for the defense and thus Pasanen will have to play as DC. Prodl, Pasanen and Rosenberg are also out.

I think we will see well motivated Bayern here, giving everything to snatch the first home victory. Though Klose is out, they have great offensive power in the faces of Klose, Gomez and Olic and Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Pranjic, Hamit on the wings. As I said, I don`t see how Werder will improve that much their performance and with such game I can`t see them getting anything here. Still both sides have some defensive problems and with such offensive powers I hope that we will see an open and resultative game.

There is no value in the odds but as it is still the begining of the season, I think this is acceptable. Still keep the stakes lower and wait for later round before start increasing them.
