Atletico Madrid – Valencia

It is going to be really tight in this game as both teams want to play in the Champions League next year and maybe there will be place only for one of them.

Only 1 point separates this two teams as Valencia is currently occupying the 4th place giving place in the Champions League. And both teams need to get in that competition especially Valencia which has problems with the finances. 

Both teams are in great shape recently, with great offensive power and with good boost in the moral after the last round`s wins - Atletico managed to beat the in-form Espanyol (3-2) and Valencia stunned Real M. (3-0). And both teams will seek the win here as the points are more than valuable especially for Valencia which has difficult games till the end. 

There will be some injuries in both sides – for the hosts Perea, Florent Sinama-Pongolle, Giourkas Seitaridis and Antonio Lopez will be missing and for Valencia Vicente, Edu and Manuel Fernandes are out.

Probable line-ups

Atletico Madrid (4-4-2) - Franco – Heitinga, Pablo, Ujfalusi, Pernia – Maxi, Assuncao, Garcia, Simao – Aguero, Forlan

Valencia (4-2-3-1) - Cesar – Alexis, Maduro, Albiol, Miguel – Baraja, Marchena – Mata, Silva, Joaquin – Villa

The Pick

The stake is really high here for both of the teams as here to some degree may be decided who will play in the Champions League next year. Both teams are in great form with pretty resultative offense. Atletico has the advantage of the home ground and their play is slightly better in my opinion lately so I can`t see Valencia getting something more than a draw in the best option.
