Atletico Madrid – Sporting

This will be the last game of this round as the points from the meeting are quite valuable for both teams.Atletico had different expectations for the season but now they found themselves in the 8th place. There is still chance for them to get a respectable position as 3 points here can put them on the 5th place and very close to the Champions League spots. Now it is going to be difficult for them to get into the first 4 but surely will fight until the end for and Euro qualification. So you can see how a win here can change their position in the league and their morale for this game is not questionable – the players will be highly motivated for the win here.

Sporting are 1 point above the relegation zone with great possibility to get inside. And the reason is more than clear – 9 losses in the past 11 games, as in the last 5 they lost in a row. They play and form is really terrible. The team still hasn`t drew but I can`t see that happening in this game. So I won`t be surprised if I see them inside the relegation zone soon.

Atl. Madrid won`t be missing any key players as for the visitors there will be some key injuries.

Atletico will be highly motivated here and surely they are at least one class above their opponent. The 3 points here will make things more calm for the team and they are really important for them. And one more factor here – they will try to bounce back for their fans after being hammered last round with 5 – 1. So I guess Atl. Madrid will do their job here.
